More Pharmacists in GP Surgeries

Patients will soon have increased access to expert advice from a clinical pharmacist due to the expansion of a new scheme to fund and employ pharmacists in local GP practices.

NHS England has increased funding from £15m to £31m for its clinical pharmacists in general practice pilot due to the positive response from GP surgeries.
