Interface Clinical Services Ltd (Interface) Governance
Interface pharmacists assist practices and clinicians to optimise medicines management and increase patient access to expert clinical advice through clinics and educational services. Our nationwide team of pharmacists has an in-depth working knowledge of the NHS at local, regional and national levels, which is effectively applied on a daily basis to improve patient experience and outcomes.
Whilst clinical pharmacist services are key within a primary care setting, Interface continue their support through to secondary and social care settings offering insight into care regimes throughout the patient journey.
Interface employees work within a rigorous clinical and information governance framework designed to deliver the highest standards of care and safety and to comply fully with all legal and regulatory requirements. Our framework and working practices are fully aligned with NHS policies and procedures.
All Interface pharmacists must maintain registration with the relevant regulatory body and meet all required standards including confidentiality, continuing professional development and completing an annual Declaration of Fitness to Practice. This is monitored by the company.
All staff who access patient data have a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) or equivalent screening check upon commencement of employment and every three years subsequently. Any staff who have direct contact with patients have an enhanced screening check. All Interface employment contracts include a signed individual commitment to confidentiality.
Interface invests heavily in job-related learning and training and commissions external post-graduate accredited courses when they are needed to support the delivery of specific projects. Field visits undertaken by senior clinical staff provide assurance of the quality of service delivery and patient care.
