Interface present at The Pharmacy Education Conference

Interface attended The Pharmacy Education Conference in Manchester, where we presented our work in bone health and diabetes.

The first presentation, improving bone health through proactive case finding and optimisation of care, detailed out work in the North East of England in partnership with Lindisfarne Health and NEAHSN, where 344 patients who were recommended for initiation of bisphosphonate treatment had an average fracture risk of approximately 27% in the next 10 years.

Whilst the second presentation focused on our work with Slough CCG to support the management of type 2 diabetes and the achievement of the NICE- recommended 9 key care processes.
