Interface

RPS visit Interface

Interface Clinical Services, the UK’s leading independent provider of clinical support services to the NHS, recently welcomed Robbie Turner, Director of Pharmacy and Member Experience at The Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS), to discuss the value of pharmacists and the diverse yet pivotal roles they play within healthcare today.

Robbie Turner met with Jim McArdle, Commercial Director of Interface Clinical Services, to discuss the future and increasingly important role of pharmacists both within the NHS and private industry and looked at some of the many projects being carried out by Interface Clinical Service’s team of over 70 qualified pharmacists across the UK.

“I spent a really interesting day hearing about the varied clinical services offered by the team at Interface and how the RPS can help support recognition of pharmacist roles and the development of those within them” said Robbie Turner.

Jim McArdle commented: “Interface and the RPS have shared values and it was great to discuss how we can work together in the future by building a stronger relationship.  Pharmacists are a valuable resource for the NHS, particularly when utilising their clinical knowledge and expertise within the primary care setting.  We are the only organisation in the UK healthcare sector to capitalise on this unique skill-set with a fully employed, nationwide team of clinical pharmacists and during last year alone, we delivered around 6,200 clinical reviews, remote services and patient facing clinics throughout the UK.”
